The requirements of OPEI B175.6-2018 apply to:
- a) Internal combustion engine-powered, hand-held, hedge trimmers;
- b) Internal combustion engine-powered, hand-held, extended-reach hedgetrimmers; and
- c) Internal combustion engine-powered, hand-held, multi-purpose machineswhen configured as a hedge trimmer.
The effective implementation date of this standard shall be two (2) years after thepublication date and shall apply to all products built after that date. Manufacturers mayalso comply with this standard any time after the publication date.
